Can CCGT replace a visually similar insert?
Do not substitute by outline alone. Confirm all four ISO letters, size, thickness, hole diameter, corner radius, hand and holder seat before approving an interchange.
How should the nose radius be selected for CCGT?
Choose it from required surface finish, feed, radial force and part rigidity. A larger radius can strengthen the corner but may increase vibration risk on slender parts or weak setups.
